Liam Dickinson was plucked from non-league football by Stockport County aged 21, going on to spend a very successful two and half years with County scoring 35 goals in just 67 games.
One of those goals came in the League 2 Play-Off Final against Rochdale in May 2008, leading to Championship side Derby County spotting his talent and paying £750,000 for him in July. He has been loaned out to Town to get some match experience under his belt and has joined for an initial one month period.
A tall and powerful forward, Liam provides good competition and backup for Andy Booth and should bang in the goals for Town during his short stay.
