'Azzer' signed professional forms with Town ahead of the 2005/06 season after graduating from the Academy that summer and went on to make his first-team debut in October of that year in the 2-1 Football League Trophy defeat at Boston United.
He was offered a 6-month contract for this season by manager Andy Ritchie after an injury-plagued end to the 06/07 season that was extended until the end of the season. 'Azzer' plays predominantly at right-back, but he has done well in a defensive midfield role for the Reserves.
