Club Captain 'Worthy' came up through the Town Academy before signing his first contract in August 2002. He made his debut barely a week later, coming off the bench in the 2-1 defeat at Plymouth Argyle.
The gritty midfielder has always been one of the first names on the team-sheet for Town, with tough tackling complementing his all-round combative style of play - which can lead to the odd yellow card! Dewsbury-born Jon is contracted to Town until the summer of 2009.
