A gigantic figure at nearly 6' 6" tall, centre-back Jamie has brought considerable Championship experience to the Club following his move from Bristol City in the summer of 2010.
A very consistent performer throughout his career, he has skippered sides on various occasions and follows in the footsteps of his younger brother John, who came through the Club as a trainee before moving onto pastures new.
Jamie is very powerful in the air and chips in with more than his fair share of goals thanks to his aerial ability from set-pieces; in his first season at the Club he netted six goals in 45 appearances.
Having worn the number 18 shirt in his first season at the Club, he will now sport number six during the 2011/12 campaign.
Jamie is contacted to the Club until the summer of 2013.
