Another product of the Town Academy, Nathan signed his first professional deal in August of 2001 and made his first-team debut a month later when he started the 1-1 draw with Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium.
The elder of Town's two Clarke brothers, Nathan has put an injury-ravaged 2006/07 season behind him to rediscover the form that saw him named as one of the top 50 players outside the Premiership in both 2005 and 2006. The centre-back can deliver a massive long-throw and is very good at timing his tackles; he is contracted until the summer of 2012.
