A long away trip to Brighton awaits Lee Clark's side on Tuesday night, who will be looking to extend their current winning away form with another three points; kick-off at the Withdean Stadium, 7.45pm.
The game is one of Town's games in hand and a win over the Seagulls would propel the Terriers back into the League One Play-Off positions. However, Brighton are fighting their own relegation battle and will be equally keen to record a welcome victory.
PAST MEETINGS
There have been 41 competitive matches between the two sides in the past; the first being an FA Cup fixture back in 1922 which resulted in a 0-0 draw. Over the years Brighton hold the bragging rights - the Seagulls have won 18 of the 41 meetings, nine games have ended as a draw and Town have been victorious on 14 occasions.
Brighton has not been a happy hunting ground for Town over the years - Town fans have seen their side win only three times on the road at Brighton; stalemates have occurred on seven occasions and Town have been defeated 10 times.
Last season's fixture between the sides resulted in a 1-0 victory for Town, with Michael Collins grabbing the headlines in front of a 6,461 crowd with the only goal of the game.
Arguably the most memorable game between the two sides was earlier this season, when Town inflicted a 7-1 thrashing upon the Seagulls. On the night the Terriers had six different goal scorers, with striker Theo Robinson bagging a brace.
INS AND OUTS
Brighton manager Gus Poyet was active during the January transfer window - the former Chelsea and Tottenham playmaker recruited three players during the window and let a further three leave the Club.
Former Leeds and Monaco winger Seb Carole joined the club following his release from fellow League One rivals Tranmere Rovers. Carole has had a stop-start career to date and will be hoping he has found home during his second spell on the seaside. Poyet's two other signings were loan players - defender Marcos Painter joined from Welsh outfit Swansea and striker Chris Holroyd joined from Cambridge to add some extra fire power to the Seagulls squad.
Everton Academy graduate Kevin McLeod ended his spell on the seaside and moved to Wycombe on a free transfer. Additionally, Welsh international Craig Davies joined his second loan side of the season in Port Vale and former Hull City central midfielder David Livermore left the Club by mutual consent after failing to regain his place in the side.
TEAM NEWS - TOWN
As Anthony Pilkington returned to the starting eleven against Carlisle United on Saturday, the only injury doubt for Lee Clark surrounds attacking central midfielder Michael Collins. The Irish under-21 international has missed Town's last two games after twisting his ankle in training, but could be in contention to travel to Sussex.

ONE TO WATCH - GLENN MURRAY

With Nicky Forster possibly out of the side, more emphasis will fall upon striker Glenn Murray to bag the goals for the Seagulls against Town on Tuesday night.
The Cumbrian-born striker started his career in non-league circles with Workington Reds, Wilmington Hammerheads and Barrow before making the move into the Football League with Carlisle United. Following a loan spell at Stockport County he joined League Two Rochdale, where he managed an impressive strike rate of one goal every two games - earning a £300,000 move to the Withdean in January 2008.
A tall and enigmatic forward, Murray can be a very dangerous customer on his day and will have to be carefully marshalled by the Town defence.
