Not many things last over 25 years in sport nowadays - not even Andy Booth's playing career! But one organisation at Town celebrates its silver anniversary this year - the HTFC Patrons Club.
Established in 1985 by Club Legend Steve Kindon to raise money for the Club's youth development scheme, it has since raised over £500,000 and retains over 500 members on a yearly basis.
However, the Club has now re-launched the Patrons Club ahead of the 2010/11 season as we plan for the next 25 years of youth development.
Huddersfield Town Chairman Dean Hoyle commented:
"Over the past 25 years the Patrons has played an invaluable role at Huddersfield Town and is now a part of the fabric of the Club.
"We want to make it more worthwhile than ever before to become a Patron, so we have added a wide range of benefits to membership.
"We would like the Patrons to become the club that unites Town fans spread across the globe; I would encourage everyone that can to join."
The Patrons costs just £12.50 a quarter and is open to any Town supporter anywhere in the world, young or old.
