The Patrons Association made their annual presentation of a cheque and their player awards to representatives from the Huddersfield Town Academy at Saturday's home game against Colchester United.

Trevor Wainwright, Marcus Garside and Robert Pepper of the Patrons Association presented a cheque for the magnificent amount of £21,000 to Academy Manager Graham Mitchell during the half-time interval; thanks to the Patrons for their contribution from everyone at the Club.

Meanwhile left-back Greg Pearson was presented with the trophy for First Year Scholar of the Year by Robert Pepper, whereas Aidan Chippendale was given the accolade of Second Year Scholar of the Year. This capped off a great season for Aidan, who won the First Year accolade at the conclusion of the 2008/09 campaign.
