Gerry Murphy's Academy travel to Luton Town today to face the Hatters' youngsters tonight in the FA Youth Cup Third Round in a 7pm kick-off at Kenilworth Road.
The Academy set off at 2pm from the Galpharm today to make the trip down the M1 and take a strong team. Danny Racchi and Adam Wilson are both ineligible for the Youth Cup as they are both too old (18) but in step Under 16 player Dave Pickering and striker Daniel Broadbent. It looks like the Academy will revert to 4-4-2 for this evening's game after playing 4-1-4-1 in the defeat at Nottingham Forest last Saturday.
Winger Luke Malcher was the only injury doubt after feeling his ankle in the Forest game. Luke had just returned to the side following a lengthy ankle problem and thankfully he has recovered in time for tonight's game.
Luton have their own injury worries ahead of the game, with striker Ryan Charles, Edward Asafu-Adjaye and midfielder Rob Sinclair all doubts. To get Luton Youth Coach Marvin Johnson's thoughts ahead of tonight's game, click here.
The game kicks off at Luton's Kenilworth Road ground at 7pm this evening (Wednesday), with admission being £3 for Adults and £1 for Senior Citizens and Under-16s.
