Striker Theo Robinson has today agreed a loan move to Championship side Millwall until 11 December inclusive.

The 21-year old forward has started one game for Huddersfield Town this season - in the Carling Cup tie at Everton - on top of one brief appearance as a substitute and will complete a move to the South London side, who have enjoyed a great start to the season, on Friday.

Huddersfield Town Manager Lee Clark said:

"It's very rare for a team to have three strikers on the bench in one game, and then even rarer that all three would get used. The forwards we have at the Club are all out and out strikers and there is no way we could have them all on the pitch at one time.

"Theo was becoming a little bit frustrated at his lack of opportunities, so when Millwall presented him with the chance to play football it was important we allowed him to take it."

Chief Executive Nigel Clibbens also commented on the move:

"Alongside Theo we have four other first team strikers; that is an embarrassment of riches but isn't sustainable.

"There were very tentative discussions with Millwall during the transfer window but terms couldn't be agreed.

"Huddersfield Town and Millwall are both flexible with regards to where this loan move could lead in the future."

Theo will compete with the likes of Steve Morison, Neil Harris and Kevin Lisbie for a striking berth at the New Den but Millwall boss Kenny Jackett will be without the services of fellow forward Shaun Batt for the rest of the 2010/11 campaign following his recent knee surgery.

In total, Robinson has made 19 starts and 26 substitute appearances for Huddersfield Town since his move from Watford in the summer of 2009, scoring 16 goals in all competitions.
