Town Manager Lee Clark has made two changes to the starting eleven for today's npower League One game against AFC Bournemouth; kick-off 3pm.
With Scott Arfield and Graham Carey away on international duty with Scotland and Ireland's under-21 squads respectively, Clark has brought Lee Peltier and Anthony Pilkington (pictured) back into the starting eleven today. Peltier will slot in at right-back following his one match suspension, whereas Pilkington is returning from an ankle injury and should line up on the right wing.
This means that goalkeeper Alex Smithies will be protected by a back four of Liam Ridehalgh at left back; centre backs Peter Clarke and Jamie McCombe with Peltier at right back. Gary Roberts and Pilkington will start on the flanks with Joey Gudjonsson partnering Antony Kay in central midfield, leaving Jordan Rhodes to partner Alan Lee in attack.
As Jim Goodwin departed the Club earlier this week, first year professional Aidan Chippendale is on the bench for the first time this season.
