GOODWIN & SKARZ END LOAN SPELLS

Posted on: Tue 11 May 2010

Town duo Jim Goodwin and Joe Skarz have returned to the Club following the conclusion of their respective loan spells away from the Club.

Midfielder Goodwin joined fellow League One side Oldham Athletic in January and made six appearances for the Latics, predominantly as a right-back, before being ruled out for almost three months with a torn thigh muscle. However, he returned to their starting line-up for the last two games of their campaign.

Meanwhile, left-back Skarz was a virtual ever-present for League Two side Shrewsbury Town after moving to the Club on loan during the January transfer window, starting 20 games as they narrowly missed out on the Play-Offs.

Both players are available to Town boss Lee Clark for the upcoming Play-Off Semi-Finals against Millwall.

Meanwhile, defender Andy Butler and striker Phil Jevons have stayed with Blackpool and Morecambe respectively as they compete in their respective divisional Play-Off Semi-Finals.
