Huddersfield Town legend Andy Booth has been named as the Hollybank 'Champion' - a role that will see the former striker become the figure head for the partnership between the charity and the football club.
Booth, who scored 150 goals for Town and became the football club's Ambassador when he hung up his boots in May 2009, has been recently nominated for a national award by the Football League for his work in the community and will now further that with his new, prestigious role with the Mirfield-based charity.
In his new role, Andy will become the face of Hollybank's fundraising events such as the upcoming Golf Day and the World Cup dinner.

Huddersfield Town began their association with Hollybank Trust at the beginning of the 2009/10 season. The Hollybank logo appears on the back of the Club's away shirts and together the pair have organized a number of events, including an art exhibition at the Stadium back in September 2009, to raise awareness of the charity's work.
'Champion' Andy Booth commented on his new role:
"I am delighted and honoured to have been named as the Hollybank 'Champion' and I cannot wait to get underway.
"Hollybank carry out so much invaluable work with some of society's most vulnerable members, such as children with severe physical disabilities, and I am happy to help in any way, shape or form when it comes to fundraising for such a worthy cause."
Lisa Russell, Senior Fundraiser at Hollybank, said: "We are so pleased to be in partnership with Huddersfield Town and now to have Andy Booth as Hollybank's Champion is wonderful! To be working with a local legend is such a privilege, and we are looking forward to the partnership going from strength to strength."
