LOAN WATCH - SKARZ & JEVONS PLAY
Two Huddersfield Town loanees were in action for their respective clubs over the weekend.
Joe Skarz made his second appearance in Shrewsbury colours on Saturday, but could not prevent his side from falling to a disappointing 1-0 home reversal at the hands of Accrington Stanley. Joe played the full ninety minutes and almost set up equalising goals on two occasions, only for the Stanley 'keeper to deny strikers Dave Hibbert and Kris Bright.
Joe's third appearance for the Shrews could come on Saturday when they travel to Macclesfield Town in League Two.
Meanwhile, Morecambe top scorer Phil Jevons couldn't add to his fourteen goal haul for the Club during a 1-0 home defeat to League Two Play-Off rivals Chesterfield. 'Jevo' came very close - hitting the post with a first half drive - but could not net on Saturday and will have to wait until next Saturday's game at Accrington Stanley for his next outing.
