LOAN WATCH - JIM PLAYS 90 MINUTES

Posted on: Thu 21 Jan 2010

Town's central midfielder Jim Goodwin started his second game for Oldham Athletic last night, playing in their 0-0 stalemate against Les Parry's Tranmere Rovers.

The 28-year old Irishman proved his versatility to manager Dave Penney, switching from central midfield to right back. Goodwin moved to full-back to accommodate the introduction of Alex Marrow.

The draw leaves Oldham 21st in the League on goal difference and will need to start turning their draws into wins if they are to pull away from the drop zone. Oldham players and fans alike will be hoping they can pick up three points this Saturday when they welcome Millwall to Boundary Park.
