PILKS SUSPENDED FOR GILLINGHAM VISIT

Posted on: Mon 07 Dec 2009

Town winger Anthony Pilkington will miss the visit of Gillingham to the Galpharm Stadium on Saturday through suspension.

The 21-year old picked up his fifth yellow card of the season during Saturday's 2-2 draw at League leaders Leeds United and now has to serve a one match ban at the weekend.

Contrary to some reports in the press, Antony Kay was not booked at Elland Road - it was in fact Michael Collins who was the other Town player to be shown a yellow during the game. Kay is therefore still on four yellows and is not suspended for this weekend's game.
