CLARK WINS MANAGER OF THE MONTH
Huddersfield Town's Lee Clark has won the Coca-Cola League One Manager of the Month award for November.
The 37-year old is the first Huddersfield Town boss to win the accolade since Peter Jackson won the inaugural award back in August 2005. Since that time, Andy Ritchie (November 2007) and Gerry Murphy (April 2008) have been put on the shortlist of four but did not win.
Clark, who saw off competition from Leeds boss Simon Grayson, Charlton's Phil Parkinson and Danny Wilson of Swindon to get the award, steered the Terriers to six wins from seven games in the month, which propelled the side back into the League One Play-Off zone.
"I'm accepting this award on behalf of the coaching staff, the players and everyone who works at the Club because we win and lose everything as a team," Clark told htafc.com.
"We had a great month in November and it's fantastic that we have been recognised by the League for our achievements, but great football teams are consistent and we must strive to repeat that form over December and the coming months to achieve our goal of promotion."
Clark is approaching the anniversary of his first year as manager of the Club on December 11th.
