TOWN’S TEAM vs. PORT VALE
Town boss Lee Clark has been forced to change his starting eleven for the first time in nine games for today's FA Cup sponsored by E.ON Second Round game at Port Vale, kick-off 3pm.
Lionel Ainsworth replaces the injured Anthony Pilkington on the right wing; unfortunately, Pilks has a slight injury.
This allows first-year professional Jack Hunt, a right sided defender or midfielder, to make his first appearance in the matchday eighteen - he takes Lionel's vacant space on the bench.
The Terriers will line up in an orthodox 4-4-2 formation for the game, with 'keeper Alex Smithies protected by a back four of Robbie Williams, Captain Peter Clarke, Nathan Clarke and Lee Peltier. Gary Roberts and Lionel Ainsworth will start on the left and right wings respectively with Antony Kay and Michael Collins forming the central midfield partnership behind a front two of Jordan Rhodes and midweek goalscorer Lee Novak.
