Striker Robbie Simpson could be on the sidelines for up to a month due to his troublesome thigh injury, manager Lee Clark revealed to htafc.com today.
The 24-year old, who joined the Club from Championship side Coventry City in the summer, has missed Town's last three games with the problem and Clark revealed that the problem is proving more troublesome that was initially expected.
"Robbie's recovery from a thigh injury has been slower than we first thought," Lee told the Club's official website. "As a result he has had a scan at the hospital, which revealed a second degree tear - this means he could be out for up to a month.
"That's not just a blow for us, but it's bitterly disappointing for Robbie. He's had a really stop-start beginning to his Huddersfield Town career."
Meanwhile, Lee Novak is due to have a scan on the shoulder injury sustained during the weekend win at Oldham on Wednesday whereas winger Anthony Pilkington is set to rejoin training tomorrow following his knock sustained against the Latics.
