Town midfielder Michael Collins is hoping to cap his return from suspension by helping the team overcome Yeovil in tomorrow's 12pm kick-off.
The 23-year old Academy graduate had to sit out three of Town's opening games after being shown a red card for an indiscretion in the opening day draw at Southend and admitted to the Club's official website that he is glad to be back.
"It was massively frustrating," Mickey said of his suspension. "I spent all summer getting ready and gearing up for what we all expect to be a massive season, so to be out of contention for three games after the first match was really disappointing. I know it was my own fault though.
"All I want to do is play football - there is nothing worse than sitting on the sidelines when you are fully fit. To be back involved against Newcastle in what was one of the fastest paced games I have ever played in was unreal; I enjoyed being back amongst it. I want to be on the pitch as much as possible, helping the boys record victories; after all, that is what it's all about.
"At the end of the game, we went into the dressing room and we were all disappointed. It speaks volumes for how far the Club has come that we are narrowly losing to teams like Newcastle and feeling like we should have got something out of the game."
Michael was a virtual ever-present under Lee Clark towards the end of last season, but now faces tough competition from the likes of Antony Kay, Danny Drinkwater, Jim Goodwin and James Berrett for his position in central midfield.
"It's now the case that if your performance level drops, you will not be in the team for the next game and that is exactly how it should be. I'm trying to keep on top of my game to give myself every chance of being involved in the team. There is always competition for places at the top clubs and it's great that we have that in League One - it bodes well for the future.
"That is the way it has to be this season - we have to set our standards very high. We have a lot of top quality players at the Club now and it's great to play with them; they are all so talented. Hopefully that will continue for the rest of the season and we can kick on again."
However, Collins is not expecting an easy ride against the Glovers on Saturday.
"Yeovil is always a tough game, regardless of who is in charge there. Like most teams this season, they will probably come here and try to stifle us and it is up to us to be patient and try to break them down. We will be aiming to get on top in the early stages because an early goal would help massively, but the main thing is to keep grafting as our quality should show through in the end."
