Huddersfield Town goalkeeper Simon Eastwood played for League Two outfit Bradford City today with a view to a loan deal.
The Bantams, who are managed by Stuart McCall, took on Championship side Barnsley in a pre-season friendly and Town's 20-year old custodian appeared for them in the game at Valley Parade with a view to signing a loan deal at the Club next week.
'Easty' has made one appearance for Town's first team to date and has impressed with his performances in pre-season.
"Simon will use this spell to gain some valuable experience," manager Lee Clark told htafc.com. "He did very well at the Leyton Orient game last season and has really impressed us during pre-season, but sitting on our bench will only stagnate his development and a loan spell will help him continue his improvement.
"Bradford are only around the corner from us, so it will be easy to keep track on his progress. We are looking forward to him picking up more League experience."
