Legend Andy Booth will be honoured with his own beer at a local beer festival held at Armitage Bridge - the Booth 150 Legend bitter.
The beer will debut at the Monkey Fest this weekend (July 4th and 5th) at the 'Monkey Club' in Armitage Bridge, Huddersfield.
It is the second year running that Huddersfield Town official has been honoured by the popular beer festival after Herbert Chapman was honoured by the 'Chapman's Three Star Beer' for the Club's Centenary last season.
The name the 'Monkey Club' is rumoured to have arisen from an old sailor used to bring in a pet Monkey and put it on the fireplace, hence it became known as the Monkey Club and so the MonkeyFest evolved.
Many of the Club's members are Town Season Ticket holders, which is the major driving force behind the creation of the Boothy 150 Legend bitter.
The Monkey Fest starts Saturday 5th from noon until 12pm and on Sunday 6th from noon until 9pm. Over 40 beers will be available over the weekend, where attendees can enjoy live bands and a full BBQ on both days for an entry fee of just £2! Directions to the festival can be found HERE.
The beer has been brewed by Brass Monkey Brewery.
