Former Town player Jon Worthington has today signed for League One Oldham Athletic on a two-year deal.

The 26-year old midfielder was not offered a new deal by Town boss Lee Clark and with his contract at the Galpharm Stadium now expired he has signed a deal with the Latics under new boss Dave Penney.

Danny Cadamarteri has also signed a deal with Scottish Premier League side Dundee United after rejecting a new deal at the Club.
