TOWN'S TEAM vs. WALSALL

Posted on: Sat 18 Apr 2009

Town boss Lee Clark has made one change to the starting eleven for today's League One game at Walsall, kick-off 3pm.

With winger Anthony Pilkington ruled out due to a groin injury, Andy Booth returns to the starting eleven to spearhead Town's 4-5-1 formation with Danny Cadamarteri moving out to the right wing.

This means that 'keeper Alex Smithies will play behind the usual back four of Robbie Williams, Andy Butler, skipper Nathan Clarke and loanee right-back Martin Kelly. Jim Goodwin and Tom Clarke will be deployed as holding central midfielders behind the more advanced Michael Collins, with Cadamarteri and Gary Roberts supporting Booth from wide areas.

Ian Craney takes Booth's vacated position among the substitutes at the Banks's Stadium this afternoon.
