At Town's next home game against Cheltenham Town on Saturday March 21st, the Club will once again be playing a new version of the classic Town song 'Smile Awhile' thanks to a local band.
The unsigned four piece band 'Propane Penny', consisting of John Gordon (Lead Guitar & Vocals), John-Paul Drake (Bass Guitar & Backing Vocals), Alan Bunton (Rhythm Guitar & Backing Vocals) and Chris Stables (Drums) have added a modern twist to the classic Town song.
Their version of 'Smile Awhile' can be listened to HERE.
The Club has already received feedback after the song was first aired at Town's recent home game against Millwall and would invite fans to get in touch after next Saturday's game with any comments.
Matchday announcer Paul Ramsden will introduce the new song ahead of the 3pm kick-off, so listen out!
"As a lifelong Town fan the importance of getting this right couldn't be clearer. Hopefully we have produced a modern version of a classic Town song that will appeal to a wide section of the Club's fanbase," bassist John-Paul explained to htafc.com.
Please send your comments and opinions to Press Officer Dave Sykes on david.sykes@htafc.com.
