Town winger Anthony Pilkington has told htafc.com that he is determined to help his new side record a victory when he returns to Stockport County on Saturday.
The 20-year old moved to HD1 last month from the Hatters and will clash with his old teammates for the first time this weekend - an experience he admits will be slightly surreal:
"It will be very strange for me on Saturday - Stockport has been my home ever since the start of my professional career," said Anthony. "They took a chance on me, gave me my first professional contract and I still have a lot of friends over there.
"I went back recently and did their half-time draw, when I got a good reception. I would like to think I left there on fairly good terms and I think everyone knew the Club really had to sell in its own best interests. I could get a little bit of stick, but you have to expect that in football.
"However, I am a Huddersfield Town player now; I want to win on Saturday and get into the Play-Offs. Hopefully we can record our first win under the new manager this weekend."
'Pilks' missed last weekend's game at Crewe through illness but returned to training earlier this week and should be available for Saturday's game.
"I was fine in the hotel on the Friday but I started feeling a little bit sick on the evening and I was sick through the night. I came down on Saturday morning and told the Gaffer that I was willing to give it a go, but he soon pulled me to one side and explained that he was not willing to take a chance.
"This weekend is massive for us now - we need to get the win. The results in midweek weren't too bad for us and we have a chance to get in there again."
