Town winger Gary Roberts will return to one of his former clubs on Saturday when the Terriers visit Crewe and has one thing on his mind - grabbing all three points.

The team travels to Gresty Road with manager Lee Clark searching for his first away win as Town boss and Gary admitted that the next two games on the road at Crewe and Stockport are important ones.

"The next two games are absolutely massive for us. We are aiming to get six points from the next two games on the road because teams are slipping up and we have a real chance to get in the Play-Offs, but we haven't picked up many points on the road recently and we need to get back to basics."

The 24-year old spent a month on loan at Gresty Road from Ipswich exactly one year ago, helping the Railwaymen achieve a string of decent results, but told htafc.com that although it will be nice to catch up with some familiar faces at the weekend he will be fully focussed on obtaining another three points towards the Terriers search for promotion.

"My spell at Crewe wasn't too bad - we picked up some good results and only lost one game," the Liverpudlian told the Club's official website. "I went there to play some games as I was out of the Ipswich team and it suited me as it was closer to home too. I actually only played in one home game though!

"The management has changed since that time, but I still know a couple of the players and it will be nice to see them again. It is a well-run club and I wouldn't like to see them get relegated, but if we pick up three points there this weekend I will be more than happy."

Roberts made a welcome return to the side last weekend following a three match ban as Town vanquished local rivals Leeds United at the Galpharm Stadium, but the talented midfielder was not totally satisfied with his own performance.

"It was good to go straight back into the team - it shows the manager has faith in me. I have never been so gutted to miss games in my career and I hate missing games.

"However, I don't feel I did myself much justice against Leeds. I thought I would do well after a couple of weeks off - that I would be sharper than everybody else - but I was really tired and I didn't do as well as I felt I should have done. I was a little bit gutted personally after the game, but the Gaffer told me that being tired was only natural after missing a few games. I feel like I have to put things right this weekend for the team.

"I only missed three games, but the team has changed quite a bit! We have still have the same core of players, but Lukas has come in up front and the two new wingers (Pilkington and Ainsworth) have come in and are doing really well - they look like great buys."

'Robbo' particularly enjoyed his new-look strike partnership with loanee Lukas Jutkiewicz:

"Lukas has a bright future in the game and he's good to play alongside. We have only played together in one game and hopefully we can build a bit of an understanding, play well and stay in the team. He was similar to me last Saturday because he hasn't played that much recently and he tired too, so we didn't do as well in the second-half. Only time will tell, but we are working well together in training and hopefully we can get amongst the goals."
