CADS SET FOR SCAN ON CALF STRAIN

Posted on: Wed 04 Feb 2009

Town striker Danny Cadamarteri is set for a spell on the sidelines after picking up a calf injury during the warm-up ahead of last night's draw against Hartlepool United.

The 29-year old limped off after straining his left calf muscle and was replaced by Keigan Parker in the starting line-up.

Manager Lee Clark told htafc.com that he is set to be without the speedy forward for the foreseeable future:

"We have arranged for Danny to have a scan of his calf, but we will be without him for a period of time," Lee explained.

"It's a real blow because he was outstanding on Saturday against Peterborough."
