Posted on: Sat 31 Jan 2009

Town boss Lee Clark has handed Lionel Ainsworth his full debut in today's game against high-flying Peterborough United at the Galpharm Stadium, kick-off 3pm.

New boy Anthony Pilkington also makes his home bow today, with other recent signing Dominik Werling named among the substitutes.

Clark is likely to deploy his side in a 4-4-2 formation against the Posh today, with 'keeper Alex Smithies behind a back four of Robbie Williams, Andy Butler, Nathan Clarke and skipper Andy Holdsworth. New boys Pilkington and Ainsworth will occupy the left and right wings respectively either side of central duo Jim Goodwin and Michael Collins, leaving Phil Jevons to partner Danny Cadamarteri in attack.
