Tom Clarke has been recalled to Huddersfield Town from his loan spell with League Two Bradford City this morning.

The 20-year old defender, who can also play in midfield, had previously been allowed to stay with the Bantams for a second month after his initial one-month loan expired on November 26th but Caretaker Manager Gerry Murphy has decided to bring Tom back to the Galpharm Stadium ahead of this weekend's League One game against Walsall.

Murphy told htafc.com that Clarke has been recalled to strengthen the squad:

"Unfortunately Joe Skarz has picked up an ankle injury in training this week and with several other players out on loan for good reasons, we have decided to bring Tom back to the Club in order to strengthen our squad."
