On-loan Town striker Tom Denton scored on his Woking debut last night as his new loan club recorded an impressive 3-0 victory at Salisbury in the fourth round of the Setanta Shield.

The 6' 7" tall forward started the game for Woking and took only 34 minutes to open the scoring and his own personal account, finishing neatly when ten yards out at the back post after a good free-kick from teammate Danny Bunce.

Denton played parts in Woking's second and third goals before being replaced in the 70th minute.

Teammate and fellow Town loanee Simon Eastwood was an unused substitute.

Woking's next game is in the Blue Square Premier on Saturday, when they travel to Histon - recent conquerors of Leeds United in the FA Cup.
