Town's 20-year old defender Tom Clarke has extended his loan spell with League Two side Bradford City this morning.
The younger of the two Clarke brothers has played six games for the Bantams during his one-month loan spell at Valley Parade and will stay at the Club until January 3rd inclusive, although Town now have a 24-hour recall clause.
Caretaker Manager Gerry Murphy explained that the move is in the best interest of everyone involved.
"It will benefit us, because Tom is playing there. We now have a 24 hour recall clause on Tom as well, so if anything goes wrong here we can have him back."
Clarke has helped the Bantams climb the League Two ladder during his spell, with the side losing only one of his six games. Originally Stuart McCall played him at centre-back, but more recently Tom has been deployed in central midfield.
Tom has an early chance to exact some swift revenge over Leyton Orient for us; Bradford take them on in the FA Cup this weekend.
Meanwhile, winger Steve Jones has returned to Burnley following the conclusion of his loan spell.
Gerry told htafc.com that it is unlikely he will be adding any loans to the Town squad:
"I feel that we have got the squad here. You have to be aware that the more players you bring into a dressing room, it takes longer to get the right camaraderie in the dressing room. I think we have a squad of players here that can do the business; we just have one or two little things to tweak."
