Town have this morning signed Steve Jones from Burnley on a month's loan.
The 31-year-old striker has been brought in through the emergency loan procedure after Town sustained injuries to Phil Jevons, Danny Cadamarteri and Andy Booth.
After spells at Sligo Rovers, Bray Wanderers and a fruitful spell at Leigh RMI where he scored 43 goals in just over 100 games, he joined Crewe for £75,000 in 2001.

He enjoyed a loan spells at Rochdale in 2002/03 before a return to Crewe where he finished as their top scorer with 16 goals and scooped the Supporters Player of the Year Award.
Able to play either on the wing or up front, he is quick and has keen eye for goal and has one international goal to his credit from 28 caps for Northern Ireland.
He joined Burnley in 2006 on a free and returned to Crewe on loan last season.
The loan runs until 25 November and he is in contention for this weekend's game against Bristol Rovers.
