The Club is urging fans to get behind the team against Yeovil Town on Tuesday 28th October by sitting behind the goal in the Pink Link Stand!

Fans will be able to sit in the South end of the ground for the first time in over half a decade against the Glovers and could make the difference with their vocal support as Stan Ternent's side look to push on up the League One table.

All tickets & exchanges must be purchased/exchanged at the ticket office before 5pm on Monday 27th October. There will be no availability on the day for home supporters in this area.

Tickets for the Pink Link Stand will be priced at £20 for adults, £12 senior citizens, £10 students and under-16s. Registered 'Fans of the Future' can pre-purchase a ticket for that stand for just £5.

Any existing season ticket holders who wish to switch their seat to the Pink Link Stand for that game can do so at the charge of £1 for adults and 50p for all concessions - proceeds of which will cover increased costs.

Town's Director of Business Development Sean Jarvis explained the logistics and motives behind the move to htafc.com.

"The Club has noticed a groundswell in the desire amongst fans to sit in the Pink Link Stand and being able to facilitate this at the Yeovil game is an indication that we are listening to and working with our supporters - in particular the Huddersfield Town Supporters Association, who have been instrumental in making this happen.

"Stan Ternent is also keen to build an atmosphere behind one of the goals and Chairman-elect Dean Hoyle is also in favour of this move, so we put the wheels in motion ahead of the start of the season.

"We have talked extensively to KSDL, the safety team here at the Galpharm Stadium and the events panel - which includes the emergency services such as the Police - about making the Pink Link Stand available to home fans and I would like to thank all of them on behalf of the Club for their work towards this goal. As mentioned, credit has to go to the Huddersfield Town Supporters Association for their work towards this goal too.

"Although we put the wheels in motion before the start of the season, we needed to wait until now to allow this move due to the tremendous uptake in season tickets; having 16,000 plus here on a matchday was always going to result in operational changes, but now that all the stakeholders are satisfied we have agreed on the Yeovil game.

"In an ideal world, we would like to offer the whole of the Pink Link Stand to the home supporters but the ground's safety certificate dictates that away fans must sit in that stand and so it will be split between the two groups.

"Our fans should be aware that this experiment has increased the matchday costs to the Club. Without this move, the Yeovil Town game would have been police-free but now extra stewarding is needed, along with a small police presence.

"As a result, I would urge our fans to get behind this and support us from the Pink Link Stand against Yeovil; your support can really make a difference for the team."
