Huddersfield Town Football Club would like to thank fans for their generosity after the special limited edition Pink and White striped replica shirt, produced in support of the fight against Breast Cancer, sold out in less than 7 hours last week.
Demand for the 88 shirts exceeded all expectations and having now sold out, the Club has received a number of e-mails from fans enquiring about a possible second batch of limited edition shirts.
The Club is conscious not to ruin the 'limited' nature of the pink and white shirt, produced in association with stand sponsors The Pink Link, but the overwhelming response and the possibility of generating more funds for the Huddersfield HRI Breast Cancer Care Fund is arguably a bigger factor behind producing more shirts.
As a result, the Club would like to gauge the opinion of the fans - do you think we should produce another batch of pink and white striped shirts or not?
Should the Club undertake another run of shirts, we would look to put a pre-order system in place. The shirts take around three months to arrive and so the estimated date of sale would be Valentine's Day 2009.
