Town's 19-year old defender Shane Killock has joined Blue Square North outfit Harrogate Town on loan for a month.

The left-footed centre-back has yet to feature for the Terriers this season and joins the Sulphurites until October 4th.

Harrogate have made a good start to their season and currently sit second in their division with 13 points from 6 games. Killock should feel right at home at CNG Stadium - former Town players Matt Young and Aaron Hardy now ply their trade there.

Killock had a similar loan spell at Blue Square North side Hyde United last season, where he drew plaudits for his 13 appearances.

Town boss Stan Ternent explained the move to htafc.com:

"We don't have another reserve game until September 17th, so this is a good opportunity to get Shane some competitive games under his belt."
