JARVIS SPREADS WORD TO IRELAND

Posted on: Mon 11 Aug 2008

Town's Director of Football Development Sean Jarvis will not be travelling to Colchester United's new Weston Homes Community Stadium to watch our game this Saturday.

Instead, Sean will be making the journey over to Ireland to speak to senior FAI officials about Town's successful 'Family Club of the Year' and £100 Season Ticket Campaign!

Jarvis has been invited to speak to the Irish Football Association and several officials from top Irish clubs about Town's recent off-field activity.

Sean told htafc.com that being asked to represent Town in Ireland was 'a real honour' and a good opportunity for the Club.

"It's a real honour to be asked to speak to the FAI and also a good opportunity to spread news about Huddersfield Town to another country," Sean explained.

"The fact that the Irish Football Association is holding us up as a benchmark is proof that we are a hot topic within footballing circles at the moment.

"It's a good opportunity for me to increase Huddersfield Town's profile in a foreign country and to build some new relationships with our Irish counterparts. Hopefully there will be a trade-off of ideas and I will come back with some new ideas that can benefit Town too."
