Huddersfield Town threw the doors to the Galpharm Stadium wide open on Friday evening and over one thousand fans enjoyed the first 'Open Day' in many years!

Supporters in attendance watched manager Stan Ternent put the first-team through their paces in a high-tempo training session on the hallowed Galpharm turf and got a special 'behind-the-scenes' look at closely-guarded areas such as the changing room and the Directors' Box.

Many of the thousand in attendance took the opportunity to become Town's new star signing by having their picture taken with Ternent and assistant Ronnie Jepson in a specially arranged press conference in the Football Trust suite, while fans could also look at the recently refurbished Board Room - including the trophy cabinet of course!

Two corporate boxes were setup as they are on a matchday in the Direct Golf UK Stand, with information readily available on Town's Commercial activities as well as the new Supporters Club, the Zone and the recently revealed HD One development plans.

Over 30 fans took advantage of the 'One Night Only' offer of a free signed shirt for joining the Blue and White Foundation, the exclusive members club that helps to fund the Huddersfield Town Academy.

Town's Director of Business Development Sean Jarvis heralded the evening as a great success.

"I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all of the fans who came down to the Galpharm Stadium on Friday evening," Sean explained to the Club's official website.

"The evening was a great success and we'll be looking to hold similar events in the future."
