Huddersfield Town are looking for a new matchday announcer for the 2008/09 season and are encouraging fans to apply to be the 'Town Idol'!
The best three candidates will be selected by Club officials, with a final being held at the Galpharm Stadium ahead of the pre-season friendly with Sheffield United on August 2nd.
Make no mistake - this is a tough roll to play on a Huddersfield Town matchday. The candidate needs to be available for every home game of the 08/09 season (click HERE for a full fixture list) and needs to have a clear, easily understandable voice. Tasks will range from whipping the Galpharm faithful to fever pitch in the run-up to kick-off to having the natural charisma and ability to deal with mascots suffering from bad cases of stage fright!
As tough a job as this is, it represents a fantastic opportunity for the correct individual.
