The transformation of Huddersfield Town has begun in earnest and the 2008/09 season will signal a new start for the 100 year old Club.

According to Sean Jarvis, the Club's commercial supremo, a revolution is sweeping through the Galpharm and the euphoria that has encircled the stadium during the six weeks of the Club's ground-breaking season ticket campaign has energised the town.

Over 15,000 supporters from all over the world have taken advantage of the Club's cut-price season ticket offer of adults from just £100 and with the campaign due to finish this Friday, the Club is hoping as many people as possible will be part of the Club's resurgence.

Sean Jarvis 100"There's a wind of change sweeping through the Galpharm and it feels as though the whole town's on board and behind the Club," said Jarvis. "Everyone I've talked to about Huddersfield Town and about next season, from individual supporters and supporters' groups to local businesses, have all told me how excited they are about what's happening.

"That feeling also extends to our overseas supporters who have emailed the Club explaining how much they're looking forward to the new season which is, of course, our Centenary season.

"As the campaign has progressed and more and more people have bought their season tickets, the positive feeling around the Club appears to have snowballed and has been reflected in the sales which have exceeded the all-time record and our expectations.

The positive feeling amongst supporters is well founded, as Jarvis explained: "There are lots of exciting things planned for next season, As well as bumper crowds there is a big screen and new matchday entertainment, as well plenty of other initiatives that will be revealed before the new season kicks off.

"It has been an extremely busy two months at the Club and everyone behind the scenes deserves great credit for a lot of hard work as well as the supporters," he added.
