The loan market slams shut at 5pm today, so htafc.com talked to manager Andy Ritchie today to find out if any players will be joining or leaving the Terriers.

The Gaffer admitted that he has not given up hope on a couple of striking targets.

Andy said: "We've got one or two things on the go, although one of the prospective moves looks unlikely to happen as that club cannot bring someone in to cover for that loss. We've been chasing the other target for a long time and I won't let the name out, but I'm sat here waiting for a call now.

"With Broady getting injured last night, we do need an extra body in - but not just anybody. We want to bring someone in that will improve us and perhaps that will be a younger player now given that we are lacking pace up front."

Andy also named one player who could be leaving the Galpharm on loan.

"Although Matty Young is currently injured, Rochdale have been in for him today. He's perhaps a week or maybe two from being away fit again as he's cracked a rib and we're struggling to strike up a deal with them. We're trying to help Matty as much as we can, but this cracked rib has come at just the wrong time for him.

"There is also a chance of him going to Farsley Celtic on loan, but we're waiting to see what they want to do.

"It's very much a case of 'wait and see' at the moment. We need to be careful and keep as many people at the Club as we can at the minute give the injuries we have."
