Town's 19-year old defender Shane Killock will stay on loan at Blue Square North side Hyde United for the rest of the 2007/08 season.

The former Ossett Albion centre-back has impressed during his initial month with the Tigers and it was today confirmed that he will remain at Ewen Fields to help Hyde in their promotion push, with Town having a 24-hour recall clause as part of the deal.

htafc.com talked to first-team boss Andy Ritchie to get his views on the move.

"Shane is doing really well for Hyde and they still have an outside chance of getting in the Play-Offs. He has been superb in every single game we have had watched and he has been voted as 'Man of the Match' on two or three occasions.

"It's a good learning curve for him as every game is meaningful as opposed to Reserve games and we're hoping that it will make him aware of what he will hopefully be involved in here at a later date."
