Town chief Ken Davy has today spoken out against Town's potential ticket allocation for Leeds United on December 8.

A change in kick-off for this fixture has today been confirmed. The game was due to kick-off at 3:00pm and has now been confirmed as 12:15pm. The change in kick-off comes after an agreement was reached with West Yorkshire Police and both Clubs.

Town's ticket allocation for this fixture is still to be confirmed but is expected to be less than 2000 tickets - the minimum ticket requirement for any visiting Club to an away ground.

Leeds United have appealed against giving 2000 or more tickets to Town on the grounds of the potential for disorder this fixture may attract.

Town rejected this allocation on October 22 - before the recent disturbances between Leeds and Millwall - and have been in discussions with Leeds United and the Football League ever since.

The matter is now with the Football League Board who are considering the situation and we will keep all supporters up to date as soon as possible.

The actual number being suggested is 1,710 tickets, which will grant Town fans entrance to the South East corner of Elland Road, which is unacceptable according to Town Chairman Ken Davy:

"We are very frustrated with the way this has been handled and we will be hugely disappointed for our supporters if the appeal by Leeds United is upheld by the Football League. Elland Road has a capacity of 39,000 and we find it frustrating that they can apparently side-step the rules.

"No matter what we try and do for our supporters in this matter, we have been coming up against brick walls and it is a real shame the whole situation could not have been managed better by the parties concerned."
