Huddersfield's two sporting Academies, which produce the Town and Giants stars of tomorrow, have received a huge boost from Huddersfield technology provider UK Phone Solutions.
The company, whose head office is based at the Galpharm Stadium, has been working with both clubs to develop a scheme aimed at funding the Academies through a business affiliate scheme.
The relationship encourages Town or Giants fans who run a business to switch their mobile phone, Blackberry or 3G data technology to UK Phone Solutions, and the company will make a donation to either Academy.
Affiliates who take part in the scheme will also be invited to a Terriers or Giants match to present their cheque to either Academy Director and watch the stars of today in action.
UK Phone Solutions Sales Manager Andy Bennell commented: "It is in our interest to see Huddersfield Town and Giants, with whom we share our home, succeed, We want the Huddersfield business community to support each other and if we can do that by saving them money and improving the chances of top flight sport in Huddersfield, it can only be a good thing.
