PINK LINK GO BLUE AND WHITE
Stadium sponsors, Pink Link, have swapped their traditional colours and adopted the blue and white stripes of Huddersfield Town to show their support for the club on the eve of the League One curtain raiser against Yeovil Town this Saturday.
It is an unprecedented move for the haulage company based in Netherton, Huddersfield whose staff and drivers will be carrying the blue and white flag all over West Yorkshire.
Pink Link Managing Director Richard Allen said: "We are delighted to be able to show our support for Town in this way.
"Since we entered into a partnership with Town, the Giants and the stadium we have been striving towards an ethos of all partners working together and supporting each other and this was just one way in which we could do that. We are all about brand recognition and as well as driving pink cabs, our drivers traditionally wear pink and black shirts. They are our ambassadors so this is a major thing for us but anything we can do to promote the local teams is a bonus."
Huddersfield Town's Director of Business Development, Sean Jarvis, said: "We have been delighted with the support we have received over the closed season from our supporters and it is great that our key sponsors are also showing their support."
