The pinnacle of Town's pre-season is fast approaching - the friendly with Premiership side Blackburn Rovers on Wednesday August 1st, 7.45pm kick-off!
Families are very much the focus on the day that Andy Ritchie's team faces their toughest test of the season against Mark Hughes' European contenders, with many activities planned for the day.
Originally billed to start at 4pm on the Golf Driving Range, the activities will now commence at 5pm outside and inside the Stadium due to the recent spate of bad weather making the range unusable.
Terry the Terrier will be available for any photos you might want and Football in the Community willbe based outside the Galpharm with their speed gun to find out which Town fan has the 'hardest shot'!
Before the game, opera singer Lawrence Robinson will be treating us to his ever-impressive voice shortly after players from both sides take a walk around the pitch to sign autographs (circa 6.15pm). Kick-off is at 7.45pm sharp.
At half-time, The Blue & white Foundation Summer Draw winner will be brought onto the pitch - the lucky winner scooping £10,000! As well as this, the regular Golden Gamble draw will take place - giving away over £1000.
As a special treat, we will have a special 'War of the Roses' 5-a-side match to commemorate the fact that it is Yorkshire Day - between Club Mascots! 'Terry the Terrier' will team up with Huddersfield Giants Mascot 'Big G' to head the Yorkshire side against 'Chaddy the Owl' and his Lancashire team!
After the conclusion of the game, fans will be treated to a fireworks display.
Other attractions include face painting, a balloon race, ice-creams and stilt-walkers.
