Town visit Blue Square Northern side Hucknall Town tonight for what is the third pre-season friendly ahead of the 2007/08 League One campaign and htafc.com caught up with manager Andy Ritchie to find out who is traveling.

Hucknall represent the toughest test so far for Town, being only three tiers below the Terriers in the Football League pyramid, and Ritchie is looking for a positive result from the game.

"Most of the results in pre-season are important - if we had failed to beat AFC Emley or Bridlington, I would have been concerned - but for me the more important thing has been the attitude of the players towards those games", Andy explained. "It would be easy to get a little bit complacent towards these types of games, but our lads have been excellent in both training and matches.

"We found it difficult to break Emley down, due to the size of the pitch and perhaps even the length of the grass. We struggled to find space there with the pitch being so small until they tired, but full credit to Emley as they played well and worked hard. The pitch was bigger at Bridlington on Saturday and we had basically finished the game off inside the first 20 minutes.

"We have to take that same attitude into tonight's game as it's another, bigger step up for us."

Fifteen players will travel tonight, with the remaining squad members (along with those not getting a full game tonight) going to Bradford Park Avenue tomorrow evening. Andy explained to htafc.com how they divided the players.

"We've picked the two teams more in terms of location than anything else, with the lads living near Bradford playing tomorrow at Park Avenue and the other lads traveling with us tonight."

Hucknall pushed League Two Peterborough United hard in their last pre-season friendly before losing 3-1 through some late goals and Ritchie is in no doubt about how tough tonight's game will be.

"Anywhere 'Leggy' is involved, you're going to get a game. He always gave 100% as a player and he will expect his team to give exactly the same. Tony Vaughan, his assistant, played under me at Barnsley and he was exactly the same - a tough cookie. It will be a difficult game tonight.

"We're taking quite a young team over there and Hucknall will be a real test for them, but that is exactly what we want. Because we have the two games in such quick succession, we'll be looking to get a lot of the players 90 minutes tonight."
