After two lengthy meetings with Vice-Chairman Andrew Watson and his coaching staff today, Andy Ritchie told htafc.com that he is ruling out a move for Robbie Williams until the left-sided Barnsley player regains full fitness.
"We've had two meetings today about the situation and we've had all the relevant people involved; all the coaching staff, Gerry Murphy and Andrew Watson, to try and thrash out how we move forward from the bad news regarding Robbie's hairline fracture", said a disappointed Ritchie.
"We've got a few possible scenarios, but for the minute it's dead in the water. However, I'm still hopeful we can resurrect it as soon as he is fit again and we will be discussing it with the Board at our next regular meeting, which happens to be on Wednesday."
Check out htafc.com tomorrow morning when Andy will be discussing Wednesday's fast-approaching friendly with AFC Emley as well as the progression of long term injury victims Nathan and Tom Clarke.
