Martin McIntosh will start the Reserve game today |
Town's First-Team Coach and Reserve Team Manager John Dungworth will see over a young side for today's Pontin's Holidays League clash with Birmingham City at the Galpharm Stadium, kick-off 2pm.
The Blues currently sit second in the League, two points behind leaders Nottingham Forest but with today's game in hand. A win would take Birmingham top today but Dungworth's young side have performed admirably this season and following last week's 2-1 away win at Walsall, they sit in a comfortable mid-table position.
Dungworth's side are expected to line up in a 4-4-2 formation today, with England under-18 goalkeeper Simon Eastwood protected by a back four of Adam Wilson, Reserve Team Captain John McCombe, Martin McIntosh and Shane Killock. The game is McIntosh's first since he was substituted through injury during Town's 2-0 home defeat to Blackpool.

In midfield, recent first-team debutant Danny Racchi starts on the right wing with James Hand on the left, leaving Academy pair James Berrett and Mitchell Bailey in the centre. Up front, under-18 strike force Lucas Akins and Luke Malcher will be hoping to get amongst the goals.
The Riverside Stand is open to all for today's Reserve game, costing £3.50 for Adults and with free entry for concessions, so why not come down and take a look at some of Town's future stars?
