John McAliskey wil be hoping to make an impression on new boss Andy Ritchie today |
John McAliskey has been brought into the Town starting eleven by Andy Ritchie today as it would appear he has selected an attacking 4-3-3 formation for today's game against League One leaders Scunthorpe United.
The lofty front-man replaces the injured Andy Holdsworth and Adnan Ahmed starts in place of Martin McIntosh in the two changes to the starting eleven that lost 2-0 at home to Blackpool on Easter Monday.
This change will see Matt Glennon protected by a back four of Michael Collins, Dave Mirfin, Frank Sinclair and League One Apprentice of the Year Joe Skarz. Ahead of them, Adnan Ahmed and Mark Hudson will partner Captain Jon Worthington in a new-look three man midfield for Town with McAliskey, Booth and Beckett ahead of them.
